The Northern California Glass Management Association

NCGMA represents many union glass contractors in the greater Bay Area. Our primary purpose is to represent and promote the best interests of our members in all areas of labor relations.  We also keep members informed about current business trends, and provide educational training programs for owners and their office personnel.

The NCGMA is funded through “administrative contributions” which are collected by the Northern California Glaziers Trust Funds for hours worked under the terms of the collective bargaining agreement with IUPAT District Council 16. Only union contractors may join NCGMA.

The most important reason for you to become an active participant of NCGMA is to be a part of the glass contractors' multi-employer bargaining unit, which represents contractors best interest during negotiations and throughout the contract duration with IUPAT District Council 16. NCGMA is an extension of your business as a union glass contractor. Active participation in NCGMA gives you a voice in the operation of the association, keeps you connected with all its labor relations efforts, and involves you in supportive activities with other industry trade groups.
